The Branding of

ME!

I'm pretty much a jeans, t-shirt, sweater kind of girl, kind of frumpy, in the All-American sense of the word.  I wear loafers half the time, nothing fancy, but nice comfy shoes to move around in.  Until a week ago, my hair was pretty much like it was in high school and college, long, curled with a curling iron, held back with a clip.  I dress up for a wedding shoot, but for the most part, I'm unstyled and, I'll say it again, frumpy.

One of my goals in 2015 is to change that.  I used to have a GREAT wardrobe; but time, motherhood, weight, and money, has caused that to change.  My goal it to be the type and the look that people want for their photographer, a little edgy, a little stylish, and a whole lot of energy.

I'm working on changing, I'm working towards feeling better about how I look, how I feel and how I move.  I've got this!

Check out the book You are a Brand! by Catherine Kaputa.

It obviously won't give you style tips or anything, but it really gives a lot of insight into how the way you view yourself and present yourself really affects your entire brand. I had to read it for my marketing class and I really got a lot out of it.

Cara you are one of the most determined women I know, you definitely "got this". I giggled when you said you dressed frumpy because I don't see. Casual yes, frumpy nah. Good luck with your goals!
