I recently had the pleasure of attending an amazing workshop on lighting put on by Bob Davis and Stephen Eastwood (lovingly referred to as "Clint") 

  To be honest, I had NO idea who these guys were, and I don't think Clint will let me forget THAT!  It was suggested by my great friend, Michael, that if I could attend this workshop, I should.  As luck had it, I ended up with a cancellation and decided to plunk down my credit card and attend "the show".  There were great topics about how to choose speedlites, how to use them, and different light modifiers.

  Despite learning some useful information that I'm going to happily use with my clients, I always find workshops are a great way of meeting new people and getting to know acquaintances better.  I met another Cara, who like me, was named after the 40's movie star, Cara Williams.  I met Lindsay, someone I had friended on Facebook because of this workshop, and I got to know Kristy, a fellow TCPPA member, better.  (don't be surprised to see her as a second photographer at weddings when Dave, my main, isn't available!) I can even say I've now actually ate at a "Noodles" restaurant.

   These are lighting Guru's!  and to be honest, two fun guys to spend a Sunday with.  They were in the Twin Cities as part of the "Need Light?  Speedlite" Tour.  Check them out if your available and tell Clint that I'm still waiting for my Rogue.  He'll know what I'm talking about - it has my name on it!
