Matt and Rachel's Wedding | Storm Lake, Iowa

  I originally met Rachel and Matt when I photographed their newborn daughter, Brinley.  When I knew they became engaged, I knew that I had to be the one to photograph their wedding.

   It was a beautiful weekend in August.  I drove through tall cornfields of brilliant green to bring me to the small town of Storm Lake, Iowa.  Matt's gracious dad, John, opened up his farm to me to photograph not only the dress and various details, but was the location for the  "First Look" and the pre-ceremony formals.  I was invited to attend the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner, not as a photographer, but as a family guest.

   There was no doubt in my heart that this couple is well loved.  The members of the bridal party that weren't family, were lifelong friends, and I was so impressed that one groomsmen had such strong feelings for the couple, that he came from Germany with his girlfriend, to show love and support for Rachel and Matt.

   Despite the grey start to the day, the sun came out over Storm Lake to bask the couple and their guests in beautiful rays of sunshine.  Thank you so much, for choosing me to capture your day.  I am deeply honored. Minnesota Wedding PhotographyStorm Lake Wedding
