Monday Motivation

Minneapolis Photographer

So, by the time you read this, week 5 will be over, and week 6 will be starting.  Depending on when you read this, I might be in the gym.  This has been a difficult week.  Eating has sucked, Job requirements have me out the door at 8AM and walking back in at 9PM.  I haven't been able to get my second workout in, and the cardio, which was at 40 minutes twice a day, is being sucked away in the time crunch.

(The picture on the left was taken in November, the one on the right just a few days ago.  I doubt there was change, but pictures can help document changes and keep me on task when I'm struggling!)

And I'm crabby.  I don't feel like there's enough time in the day to get everything done..  And I'm tired.  Going to bed near 10PM, and waking up at 4:19AM, is draining me.  If you know me, I do best with 5AM workouts, so they have to continue, and yep, with my schedule there is no other time...

Biggest issue to work on this week, the stuff that is going into my mouth.  I KNOW I do best both with my fitness and my diabetes with a low carb diet, but it's been hard, I want my high fat bacon, and I want my peanut butter toast..  I want to snack, and I feel compelled to shove peanuts in my mouth and justify it.

Let's just aim for week 6 being better...

Hugs and kisses for joining me on my journey!

Go back to your high protein/high fat diet it was working. You don't need all that cardio. I haven't done cardio in a couple years, and I have the best abs ever now. Also make sure you are only cheating on your carbs a once a week. You got to confuse the body. I've been maintaining my weight fairly easily by really only worry about eating all the protein. I still watch my carb intake. I've been doing good till someone taught me about Fireball.
