So the journey to "Badassness" continues... Last week I joined an Ab Challenge. It's being put together by some IG friends. On Monday they give us the exercises for us to do for the week. Last week there were three different days worth of stuff. This week you do the different moves a few days a week (I'm doing it on leg days)
I for one, will honestly tell you, despite the damage diabetes has done on my abs, I have GREAT abs! I just have to burn off the layer of fat so you can see them!
My weight is holding steady. Up or down a pound or two all week, basically hovering around 153# I had a carb re-feed on Sunday. I could definitely tell by my performance in the gym on Monday. I hit some PR's that I hadn't seen in a while. Even today, I was able to up my number of reps for deadlifting.
Life is good. I'm happy, likely it's because I have a guy who loves me in spite of myself. I'm adding a picture of my hubby. I became blessed the day I said, "I do"!
