The Wedding of Bill and Rich

   Has it really been a year?  Where did the time go.  This was an AMAZING wedding.  So much fun, so much laughter, so many great memories.  I can't believe how far people traveled for this event.  That just goes to show how much people love this couple.  They all came because these are to remarkable people showing their commitment for the world to see.  I'm so thankful that I got to document the day.

After being together for 19 years, Bill and Rich officially said, "I do" in front of their family and friends at the McNamara Alumni Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota.  This was an international affair with guest from all over the country, AND from Norway and England.

   It was a beautifully elegant day, with the tropical colors of fuchsia pink, turquoise, and emerald.  Flowers were arranged and designed by Artistic Floral in Edina and family friend, Christian from Norway. The wedding guests sang a beautiful rendition of "I was There to Hear Your Borning Cry", a hymnal by John Ylvisaker.  The luscious cake with layers of both chocolate and almond was made by Buttercream Bakers. Music was provided by the Bel Canto Quartet and First Inversion Jazz Combo, featuring soloist Cheryl Persigehl. The ceremony was officiated by Erik Strand of the Edina Community Lutheran Church.  The delicious meal, drinks and hors d'oeuveres was provided by D'Amico catering.

   After speeches and the cake cutting, the happy couple and their guests danced the evening away reliving moments of the past and creating new memories for the future.

   We wish Bill and Rich a long and happy life together.
