The Wedding of Susan and Perry
July 25th dawned as a bright and sunny day. Perfect for the wedding of Susan and Perry, a couple who met 10 years ago at the wedding of Susan's sister, Mae, and Perry's best friend, Jay. The ceremony was held at The Draw, a wonderful park in Ramsey, MN. With it's man-made pond, amphitheater and waterfall, it was the perfect backdrop for a military inspired ceremony. There were beautiful military details; a sabre detail, a harp playing the National Anthem, and the formal sabre arch (complete with a sabre spanking of the new Mrs. Miller!)
The reception was held at the nicely decorated Fountains of Ramsey. With it's draped ceiling and blue lights on every table, it was a wonderful venue, hosting almost 250 guests. The food, provided by Wells Catering, was delicious. I don't believe a single person went away hungry. After cutting the cake with a sabre, guests dined on the small cakes on their tables in numerous flavors.
After dancing to the beautiful song, "All of Me" by John Legend, the crowd danced all night to music provided by DJ Lamont. We were even entertained by one of the groomsmen and his Michael Jackson impersonation to "Billy Jean".
We at Memories in Time Photography wish Susan and Perry a long and happy life together. Thank you so much for choosing us to capture the Memories of your wedding day.
