Happy 1st Anniversary to Simmie and Rich!  This was such a fun day.  I loved being part of this bi-cultural wedding.

  It was beautiful spring day when Simmie and Rich were married at the glorious St. Paul College Club on Summit Avenue.  Surrounded by a close group of family and friends, they held a meaningful bi-cultural wedding.  There was both a traditional American Wedding complete with a gorgeous white dress, bridesmaids and handsome dressed men in tuxes, and a formal tea ceremony where the bride wore a traditional Chinese red dress, and the couple served tea to their families.

  The two met on a blind date at Pizzaria Lola that lasted over 13 hours.  It was clear, this couple liked each other.  Rich proposed on a VERY cold and snowy day this past January.  Rich is a HUGE fan of the Minnesota Wild and it's safe to say, Simmie is becoming a fan, too.  They became dog parents to a spoiled little pooch named Gabby.  Gabby is a sweet little ball of energy, and when you meet her, you will see how she captured their hearts because to be perfectly honest, she captured mine.

  After a ceremony officiated by retired judge, Tom Armstrong, and a tea ceremony hosted by Simmie's childhood friend, Caroline, the guests feasted on a wonderful buffet complete with walleye fillets and bacon. There was even a signature drink, in honor of Gabby.  Besides a very tasty mango-flavored wedding cake, there was a delicious array of fresh baked pies aimed to please everyone's sweet tooth.
