Paradise Charter Cruises

    I was referred to Mark and Elizabeth by the staff at Paradise Charter Cruises.  This couple and their three children were coming from Anchorage, Alaska to get married on the Paradise Lady and needed a wedding photographer that could accommodate their desire to have family pics, on and off land photography and an unusual request of a Baptism during the wedding ceremony.  I was more than up to the task!

   I met them, their very handsome little boys, and Mark's mom and her sisters at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum  a few days before the wedding.  Three little boys, 3 and younger, are SUPER active, move fast, and NEVER look at the same direction!  Despite talking to Elizabeth on the phone, it was nice to be able to spend some time with them prior to the wedding day.

  The wedding day, was a little grey, a little rainy, but had all the love and warmth that a wedding day should have.  People came from all over the country for this wedding.  Neither the bride nor the groom were from this area, but Minneapolis was chosen because they had a few friends and family members here and it was a great central location that their guests could easily get to.

   After a touching ceremony by Susan Lee-Wright, the couple, their families and friends, braved the rain to race onto the boat for a cruise along the Mississippi River between Minneapolis and St. Paul. People happily danced away, ate great food and enjoyed the delicious cakes by Wuollet's Bakery, including my FAVORITE, Princess Torte.

   I wish Elizabeth and Mark, along with their three sons, a long and happy life. Thank you so much for choosing Memories in Time Photography to spend the day with you!
