Bearpath Golf and Country Club

  Like so many couples, Emily and Victor met on-line.  They knew right away that their attraction to each other was strong.  They were both living in the hot sun of Florida, Victor, a Swedish pilot; Emily a Minnesota girl who was a stage manager at a local theater.  When they became engaged, they both knew that Florida was not where they wanted to have their wedding.  Emily dreamed of getting married in snowy Minnesota where she grew up.  They needed to juggle trying to plan a wedding while living out of state, getting Victor’s family and friends here from Sweden, and the bride learning to speak Swedish to welcome Victor’s guests who traveled to the US for the nuptials.

  Likely 25% of the guests flew in from Sweden to attend the wedding, including the groom’s 90-year old grandmother, Margit.  With various shades of blue and sparkling silver and white, the ceremony site and reception room, glittered with the feeling of a true Winter Wonderland.  Mother nature did her part, with a dusting of fresh snow a few days before the wedding.

   To celebrate the groom’s love of golf (and of course Bearpath’s golf history) and the fact that he is a pilot, guests participated in a “hole in one” tournament and a paper airplane competition

   With twilight falling over the golf course, we were able to sneak outside to capture dreamy images for the bride and groom.
